Do you have hip arthritis and trouble sleeping?
Participants are needed for a study to evaluate a new, non-narcotic sleep medication in patients with arthritis of the hip. We are looking for volunteers to participate in a clinical trial examining the effects of a new sleeping medication used nightly for three months on: sleep, pain, and daytime symptoms.
To participate in this study, you must:
- Be between the ages of 18-64
- Have osteoarthritis of the hip
- Have trouble sleeping for at least
This study involves:
- One overnight sleep study
- Sensory testing
- May include x-rays of the hip
- All examinations, parking, and medication are provided at no cost

Do you have knee pain and trouble sleeping?
Participants are needed for a study to evaluate a new, non-narcotic sleep medication in patients with arthritis of the knee. We are looking for volunteers to participate in a clinical trial examining the effects of a new sleeping medication used nightly for three months on: sleep, pain, and daytime symptoms.
To participate in this study, you must:
- Be between the ages of 18-64
- Have osteoarthritis of the knee
- Have trouble sleeping for at least six months (Insomnia does not have to be related to knee pain)
This study involves:
- One overnight sleep study
- Sensory testing
- May include x-rays of the knee
- All examinations, parking, and medication are provided at no cost
