Support Our Research
While the Hopkins Neurovirology and Neuroimmunology Laboratory has been largely supported through federal funds from the National Institutes of Health, shrinking federal budgets and restrictions in the use of these funds for program development and starting new initiatives significantly impact the ability to change course when necessary and to pursue cutting edge scientific developments as they are discovered. Hence private donors are critical for pursuing these avenues and for advancing our quest to find cures for viral and immune disorders such as Multiple Sclerosis, AIDS and related diseases.
Donors may support the establishment of professorships, scholarships, seminar series, specific pieces of equipment, stem cell research, drug development or development of novel diagnostic techniques. We welcome prospective donors to visit our laboratory and meet the researchers involved in these projects and see them in action. Every gift no matter what its size will make a difference.
Making a gift is simple. Please contact
Kimberle Morton (kmorton3@jhmi.edu) in our Development Office to do so. Here telephone number is 410-516-6249.
