Who We Are

The Movement Disorders Center at Johns Hopkins provides comprehensive, compassionate and timely treatment to our patients. Our excellence in treating, researching and teaching about these disorders allows us to provide the best care for all our patients.

Movement Disorders can be relentlessly progressive and disabling conditions. They were untreatable fifty years ago. Since then, there has been steady progress in the treatment of these conditions. Recent advances in our understanding of the mechanisms of these disorders have lead to tremendous progress in treatment – both medical and surgical. Our ever expanding team and facilities are committed to continuing to advance this progress and to achieve our mission of improving the lives of patients suffering from these disorders.
