Who We Are

The Memory Disorders Center at Johns Hopkins provides comprehensive, compassionate and timely diagnosis and treatment to patients with memory disorders, including conditions such as Alzheimer's disease as well as milder forms of cognitive impairment. We are concerned with all aspects of these diseases - from diagnosis and clinical care to improving care through research in brain imaging and laboratory studies.

There are many causes of memory disorders. Some develop suddenly and stay very much the same over time, while others are progressive. These disorders were untreatable 50 years ago. Now some treatments are available and better ones are on the horizon.

Our team of clinicians provide state-of-the art medical care and, at the same time, work to find improved treatments for patients. Our mission is to improve the lives of patients suffering with these disorders.
