Dr. Lori JordanAssistant Professor of Neurology and Pediatrics
Dr. Lori Jordan received her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma. She completed residencies in pediatrics and pediatric neurology as well as a fellowship in cerebrovascular neurology at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Jordan is now obtaining additional training in clinical investigation (research) at The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her research interests center around finding better methods to diagnose and treat ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke in childhood.
Now an Assistant Professor of Neurology and Pediatrics at Johns Hopkins, Dr. Jordan focuses on the evaluation and treatment of neurological diseases and disorders in children with emphasis on stroke. Dr. Jordan has particular expertise in stroke, brain hemorrhage and vascular malformations and is one of only a handful of child neurologists in the world with formal, subspecialty training in cerebrovascular neurology. Dr. Jordan’s other clinical interests are cognitive neurology, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy and neurofibromatosis.
Dr. Jordan currently sees patients at The Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center located in Baltimore on Tuesdays.
